Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

Dorset Road Infant School is a 1 form entry infant school in the London Borough of Bromley. In September 2016, Dorset Road joined The Spring Partnership Trust. Our Trust is made up of 6 local primary schools as well as a group of Primary leaders and Local Committee Members who are passionate about raising standards and giving children the very best start in life. We want our pupils to enjoy their experience with us and leave school as confident, enthusiastic and ambitious learners. We work collaboratively to share expertise with likeminded schools.

At Dorset Road Infant School our children have positive attitudes to learning, high standards of behaviour and excellent attainment across the curriculum. The school has supportive parents, carers and local committee members alongside inspiring, skilled teachers and excellent support staff.  Pupils are provided with appropriate academic challenges and the breadth and quality of education beyond the core subjects is excellent. We employ specialist teachers for PE.

We are extremely proud of the varied opportunities that are offered to pupils across the curriculum as extra-curricular activities.  The impressive range of extra-curricular activities are constantly changing and currently include dance, football, tennis and zone-ball clubs.

We have also organised several workshops for parents to enable you to support your children at home.  PowerPoint presentations are uploaded for those who cannot manage to attend.

Our pupils have opportunities to learn through a wide range of educational visits and events.  There is a shared drive to constantly review, improve and enrich our curriculum to ensure learning is relevant and exciting for all pupils.

There was a fabulous display of Easter bonnets.  The children paraded their creations in the playground to parents and winners received an Easter Egg.  Thank you to Co-Op Funeral Care for providing the prizes.
